The Brewing Ritual

Four small acts. One perfect cup.

The technique we send with every tin — taught at the estate, simple enough to repeat each morning.

i. Measure

Two grams of leaf

Spoon 2g of loose leaf — about a level teaspoon — into your cup. This is the dose that lets every herb and spice in the blend speak in turn.

ii. Wake

Just enough hot water

Pour freshly boiled water — 100°C — over the leaves, only enough to submerge them. This first splash wakes the leaf and releases its aroma.

iii. Rest

Cover and wait five

Close the cup with a saucer or lid and let it rest for five full minutes. Trapped steam draws out the medicinal herbs without scalding the leaf.

iv. Pour

Top up & enjoy

Fill the cup the rest of the way with hot water. Strain the leaves, or leave them in to deepen as you sip — both are right.
